Another watercolour morning.
I took a brisk walk along the seafront with my husband. I’ve never known the sea be this calm for so many days in a row. It’s glassy.
The tide was out really far. You could see the rocks sticking out of the sand.
Seagulls picked the shoreline for lugworms, which was good to see because they’re normally bludging for chips or ripping open garbage bags and spreading the contents everywhere.
The line between the sea and the sky was the faintest trace. Washed paper, a very fine brush and the lightest touch.
The renovation of the burned out pier (arsonists) is getting really exciting. This time next year it will be open. It just shows what a group of committed people can make happen.
My daughter can’t stop blinking and asked me to book her an appointment at the ‘eye dentist’.
